Started Adames Professional Services in 1995. Adames Professional Services is an accounting and
business-consulting firm. One of the main reasons why I started this business was because I saw a
need for a Spanish speaking person to help Hispanic owned business. It is easier and comforting for a
business owner to speak to someone in the same language as he/she speaks. The business owner
understands the dealings of the government agencies (city, state, and federal) better when it is
explained in his/her language. I provide accounting services, tax services for both personal and
businesses. I also provide business-consulting services in which I will help with the start and running of
businesses.
In 2005, I started APS Permanent & Temporary Placement, a staffing agency, which specializes in
bilingual placement, of permanent and temporary employment. The Hispanic community encompasses many
talented and determined people who need a conduit to the professional world. With my staffing agency,
I can help make the connection and help increase the confidence of this community.
1st Impressions is a third branch of Adames Professional Services. While in the process of developing
APS Permanent & Temporary Placement, I realized that although there was talent within the Hispanic
community, that talent needed to be polished. Many within the community are taught the skills they
need for a job, but few are taught how to communicate, present themselves, or prepare an eye-catching
resume. My experience within the business world gives me the expertise to provide consulting to the
community. I can teach, those who are interested, how to make the best 1st impression ever.
